Birmingham Symphony Hall

Symphony Hall is a world-renowned venue which hosts over 600 concerts and events every year. Just like Squeaky Gate, they believe in the transformative power of music and now host our Music Production sessions on Tuesdays.

Greenwich Mind

This community-based mental health centre seeks to alleviate the mental health needs of residents of Greenwich and provides a variety of activities, including our Live Music sessions on Thursday evenings.

The Albany

Deptford's The Albany is a well-established performing arts centre which focuses on engaging the local community and offering high quality creative opportunities for all. Our Live Music and Musical Theatre sessions are delivered here every Wednesday.

The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust

The Trust's Stephen Lawrence Centre in Lewisham is home to our Music Production and Urban Music sessions. The centre is an inspirational place for learning and a vital part of the community in South East London.


John Howard Centre

Our Urban Music course is delivered each week at the John Howard Centre in Hackney, part of the East London NHS Foundation Trust.

Madhouse Rehearsal Rooms

We're delighted to be delivering our Live Music sessions in Birmingham's Madhouse Rehearsal Rooms, which offers excellent facilities in a friendly and creative environment on Hampton Street.
 

Bethlem Royal Hospital

We are really excited to be working with Bethlem, offering workshops to the hospital's patients. Bethlem Royal Hospital is a psychiatric hospital located in South East London, and is part of the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. The hospital is recognised as the world's first and oldest institution to specialise in mental illnesses. Bethlem in partnership with the King's College London Institute of Psychiatry is a major centre for psychiatric research.
 

Bromley Community Options 

We now offer two workshops in association with Bromley Community Options in South East London. Community Options specialise in providing services for people with mental-health needs.Their work provides hope and support, and promotes the idea of recovery and their mission is to enable people with mental health needs to work towards recovery and lead valued lives in the community.
 

Ladywood Day Centre

We have previously run Live Music sessions at this centre, a part of the Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.
 

Anglia Ruskin University

Our successful Firebird project for young adults with autism was developed in partnership with ARU. Squeaky Gate also delivered a family music day as part of the project.
 

Britten Sinfonia

We work with the Britten Sinfonia, one of Europe's most dynamic chamber orchestras on a project working with Pupil Referral Units in the eastern region.
 

Cambridge and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust

A designated Cambridge University Teaching Trust who provide services to the 755,000 residents of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough who suffer from mental health problems. We have provided the Trust with workshops and work closely with members of the Social Inclusion Team.
 

Cambridge Regional College

One of the most modern, successful and technologically advanced Colleges of Further Education in the United Kingdom, with over 3,500 full time and 12,000 part time students. CRC accredits our courses allowing our students to gain qualifications.
 

Crisis

Crisis is the national charity for single homeless people, dedicated to ending homelessness by delivering life-changing services and campaigning for change. We run courses in the Crisis London Skylight centre and provide support in the recording studio there.
 

WinterComfort

WinterComfort supports those who are homeless or at risk of losing their homes by offering them basic amenities, opportunities for educational development and recreation, and a range of services designed to help them achieve greater autonomy including a Squeaky Gate Music course.
 

National Autistic Society

The leading UK charity for people with autism (including Asperger syndrome) and their families, we work with NAS Cambridge, London and Hertfordshire.
 

CAMEO

CAMEO is a NHS clinical service providing expert specialised care and support to people aged 17-35 experiencing a first episode of psychosis. Some of our students are in the care of CAMEO.
 

Stephen Pyle Workshop

With over 26 years of experience constructing sculptures and decorative scenery for the British and international entertainment industry, Stephen worked with us to develop the 2010 arts installation Inside an Unquiet Mind.
 

The Richmond Fellowship

The Richmond Fellowship is one of the biggest voluntary sector providers of mental health care in England. We work closely with the Fellowship, offering an additional and valuable service to their clients.
 

University of Cambridge

We are fortunate to be located in the same town as one of the world’s topmost Universities offering us possibilities for collaborations with some of the world’s finest minds. We are currently working with Cambridge Neuroscience in developing a research project to evaluate the effectiveness of our work.
